There is no need to understand debits, credits or postings, you just fill in familiar forms on screen like checks, invoices and other forms and QuickBooks® automatically helps do the accounting for you.   Is this only for big business? No. Businesses both large and small benefit from the ease of operation and reporting capabilities of QuickBooks®. Features like QuickFill save you time by automatically filling in customer data. You can generate over 100 customizable reports and graphs.   What methods of inventory method does QuickBooks® support? QuickBooks® uses the average cost system for inventory tracking.   Can statements be formatted into columns for departments? Yes. The ability of setting up "Classes" for income and expenses will allow you to see activity for different departments within your company.   Can I send my file to you to look at and have you make changes or corrections? Even if I continue to use it? The Accountant's Copy feature of QuickBooks® allows you to make a copy of your file to forward to us for changes and corrections (within certain parameters). The changes are loaded back onto your floppy and you restore it to your file. The changes made on the Accountant's Copy plus all the data you have entered in the meantime will be in your file.   How do I get help when using QuickBooks®? There is a Help feature in QuickBooks® which gives you detailed on-screen assistance with most problems you may encounter. You may also telephone us for telephone assistance and we will charge your credit card for our support services.   What is your experience in computerized accounting systems? A. IBM B. In-house data-processing   Why do you sell a system that will put your data-processing department out of business? We usually encourage our clients to be as self-sufficient as possible. After the initial set-up and training, we are available to assist with any problems and questions that may arise. We have found that cutting the umbilical cord actually increases client loyalty.
